PARALEGAL
At Gosanko, O’Halloran, Lepore PLLC, our personal injury lawyers serve clients in every community in the State of Washington. It is not uncommon for us to pursue cases in Skagit County, Benton County, Mason County, Kitsap County, Island County, Grant County, and Spokane County, in addition to representing many clients in Seattle, Bellevue, Everett and Tacoma.
I grew up in Seattle and now live in Issaquah. I had the good fortune to attend the University of Washington when the football team won the national championship in 1991. I earned a degree in geography from the University of Washington. Between graduating and going to law school, I worked in various jobs including stints at hatcheries in remote locations in Alaska. This is my only job where bear encounters were an occupational hazard. In 1997, I entered Seattle University’s School of Law, which was still in Tacoma. I made the transition with the school to the main campus in Seattle in 1999, and graduated in 2000. From there I went to University of Washington Law School to earn an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington, graduating in 2001.
Since before graduation, I have worked in the legal field. I have worked both as an attorney and in support of attorneys. I have experience in environmental law, products liability, insurance coverage, Indian law, housing law and of course, personal injury. I have been with Gosanko, O’Halloran, Lepore PLLC since 2008. I enjoy working on cases of all sizes, and I especially enjoy working with Spanish speaking clients.
My favorite way to work on Spanish skills is to travel to Latin America, but I also like to watch Spanish language television and to read in Spanish. I have watched quite a few popular Colombian television shows. My favorite is probably La Hija del Mariachi. In 2013, I traveled to Colombia for two weeks. In 2007, I traveled to Guadalajara and traveled around Michoacán for three weeks. In 2006, I spent a week in D.F., Ciudad México. In 2000, I took a three week trip to Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
In addition to working with Gosanko, O’Halloran, Lepore PLLC, I also volunteer with the King County Bar Association’s Housing Justice Project. I have been a volunteer there since 2005. I was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2006.
When I am not pursuing personal injury or housing cases, I enjoy hiking, bicycling, dancing and swimming.
